It's been a while...

Since I blogged. So here I am.

A lot happened today. I talked to my birthfather for the first time in my life...it seems unreal...I'm not sure what to think about it, and now I'm pretty confused....as usual.

Seems like all the little teenagers at work hate me for one reason or another. I don't really care :) Dem bitchez iz just jealoussss :)

I can't help it if I'm so f*cking gorgeous that everyone wants me..or wants to BE me.........sorry hunny. ;)

Things coming together

We'll be moving into our lovely 2 BR extra large apartment a week from today. I can't WAIT! Packing is fun too, because it's allowing me to go through things and determine what we need and what we don't anymore. I've already packed up some of our extra dishes to help save time and space. I can't wait to get the uhaul and load that up.

We got a new couch last night, and also a twin bed for what is going to be our guest bedroom/my sewing room. Yay! Now I just need to get some sheets for it, and we're set. :)

I can't wait to start at Granite City to start making some instant cash, but I need to coordinate a schedule between them and Maurices first. Should be a majorly interesting experience.

Well..I got the job.

That's right. I got the job at Granite City. So hopefully the $$$$ starts rolling in and I can get things paid off and get a loan for a CAR. :( That's what I really need right now is a car.

Today

I picked up a couple night stands that I got off of Craigslist. They're in pretty good condition. So I am pleased :)

Moving in 9 days!! AHHH!! lol. Scary thoughts. Can't believe we'll be all moved into our new apartments.

Stuff

Well. Things have been happening, as usual. Nothing too extreme, by any means.

I had a missed call when I got off work today, and of course, it was Milford, and, of course, he was less than pleased. I don't know that I really want involved in all this drama. Please, leave me out of it. :)

Moving soon! October 20th! That means like...11 days!! OMG!!! Crazy. We'll be renting a Uhaul on the 19th I believe. Hopefully it's not too expensive...I've got to drive to Newton with it to pick up our new bed. (Which is a queen) Sara is coming over to help us move too :D Yay for an eeexxxtra largggge 2 br apartment. :)

Also: I got a call from Granite City today, and I have an interview tomorrow morning at ten. Please pray for me...if you pray...I need this job...I need this money, not only for myself, but for my friends, who have done so much for me, I need to do something for them as well. I love my job as a Manager at Maurices, and am NOT quitting at all. I just need the extra cash to pay off my medical bills....please god...if you can hear me...lol. ;)

Changeling is on. I'm quite fond of this movie. Beautifully put together!

Tonight is the night

I had a lot of fun at Rob and Misty's today. Misty has unofficially adopted me and claimed me as her own lol. I don't mind. She's a very nice lady, and seems to have nothing but unconditional love for me. :)

Yay for a freaaaakin' 8-hour shift tomorrow...it was nice having all this time off...which I somehow managed to NOT find time for ANY packing...so now...I'm back at square one...wishing I had more time...but now I'm being scheduled at every possible hour...so best of luck with that, Teresa.

Kale says farmville lied about the watermelon. Lol. I haven't played it today, I'm kind of losing interest in it...which I suppose is a good thing...

I'll be honest, I'm not excited to work tomorrow. Hopefully it goes by quickly, but I've noticed that my coworker doesn't touch the fitting room bars...she always seems to be "finding" something else to do...Last I worked with her, for four hours, she hadn't touched the bar all day...yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...might-say-something-about-that.....

I need to go to bed, but I need to eat first. Kale is making dinner. Alfredo! Yum...lack of sleep? blugh.

=(

I kinda miss having a guinea pig as a pet. When I worked at Petsmart, I ended up with like, 7 of them because people would drop them off when they didn't want them anymore. *How sad*

When I went to college, I found new homes for the guinea pigs...and now I kinda miss having one. :/ Sadsauce.
